What's ZAZZY

Zazzy is a Lebanese fast-casual spot in Arlington’s Clarendon, founded by Zeina Chouman El Eid. Built on her love for food, people, and simple hospitality, Zazzy is where recipes, operations, and creativity come together naturally. It’s a place designed to feel easy and welcoming—where flavors are bold, the vibe is relaxed, and every visit feels familiar from the first bite.

Rooted in Lebanese street food and home cooking, Zazzy is about food that comforts as much as it excites. Nothing is fried—everything is baked or roasted—and majority of the menu is vegetarian. Honest food, full of flavor, made to be enjoyed without overthinking it.

My mother, Alia, taught me that cooking is about care, simplicity, and sharing—values that quietly shaped who I am. Traveling later expanded my palate and perspective, while keeping me grounded in authenticity. In 2012, that journey led me to open an all-day café in Beirut. Moving back to the US years later, bringing urban Lebanese cuisine to Clarendon felt like a natural continuation—food rooted in memory, curiosity, and everyday joy. Simple, honest, and good for the soul. Always welcoming.
