COUNTER TEAM
Zazzy’s Counter Team Member holds a pivotal role, not only in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring efficient transaction processing but also in fostering a collaborative team environment that contributes to the overall positive experience for our patrons. This integral position involves engaging with customers at the counter, adeptly handling various payment methods, and facilitating the smooth flow of order processing.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome and assist customers with a warm and positive demeanor.
- Provide information about menu items, pricing, and promotions.
- Accurately process customer orders, handling cash, credit, and electronic payments.
- Provide change and receipts promptly and accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow team members to ensure order accuracy.
- Stay informed about menu items, ingredients, specials, and promotions.
- Upsell additional items or promotions when appropriate.
- Record sales transactions accurately and prepare daily or shift-wise sales reports.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the counter area.
- Report any issues with the order processing system promptly.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly, turning challenges into positive experiences.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a counter or customer service role is preferred.
- Proven ability to be a team player, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Accurately process cash, credit, and electronic transactions.
Working Conditions
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs (including days, evenings, weekends, holidays).
- Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work eight-hour-plus shifts
- Capability to stand, sit, squat, or walk for extended periods
